Howdy, Spiritual Neighbors!

In September, the UNMC youth group embarks on its third year of activity, launching into an exploration of other religions. We’ll be drawing from two UUA curricula - Neighboring Faiths and the newly updated Articulating Your UU Faith (by Barbara Wells and Jaco ten Hove, co-ministers at the Paint Branch Unitarian Universalist Church). We will also be using primary source material from different religions and Faiths for the Future, a U.K. curriculum for introducing environmental themes in religious education. We hope to take the youth on field trips to experience practices from other traditions for themselves and will be looking for volunteers to assist with those trips. Also, please let us know if you have friends who are actively involved in other faiths who might be willing to share with our youth. For more information, contact Sue Mosher.
