If you’ve always wanted to “be present” for family, friends, and fellow church members as they go through life’s ups and downs, plan to attend a workshop on Saturday, September 25, 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., on “Listening Skills for Congregational Caregivers,” organized by the UNMC deacons. This workshop will be presented by the Rev. Don Lowe, who preached at UNMC earlier this year, and Deaconess Kathy A. Garrison, R.N., and is drawn from their “Art of Pastoral Care” curriculum.
