Here's how the Amazon.com affiliate program works:
When you click any Amazon.com link on the church web site, you'll be taken to the appropriate page on the Amazon.com site, and Amazon.com will note that you arrived there from the church web site. Any purchase that you make -- books, music, household items, clothes, etc. -- will result in a small percentage going to the church, designated for the Pastoral Discretionary Fund.
That's all there is to it! No forms to fill out, no number to "link in" -- just enter the Amazon.com web site through any book or music link on the church web site, and your purchases will automatically benefit the PDF.
The PDF is an important part of the church's ministry, enabling the minister to provide confidential assistance to members who experience a gap in their health insurance or need help with unexpected bills and to meet other needs in our community. While the Amazon.com affiliate program will benefit the PDF with a small ongoing revenue stream, donations are always welcome and needed and can be given to the church treasurers or any deacon.
