On Sunday, June 12th, following the Youth-led service, everyone is invited to join an informal focus group-type discussion of UNMC's search for its settled Minister. We hope as many members and friends of UNMC as possible can join us for a light lunch and conversation with each other and members of the Search Committee in Perkins Hall. By that time, the Committee will have had a chance to review completed surveys and hence be able to share some of the results. They will also respond to any questions you may have concerning the process and timetable for the search. The discussion will begin immediately following the service, and we will plan to meet for no longer than an hour. Please plan to join us.
We would also like to offer some opportunities for Focus Group Discussion at other times, with an emphasis on convenient participation whether you reside in Maryland, Virginia or Washington, D.C. Rob Bertram will host a meal and evening discussion at 7 pm, Tuesday, June 28th at his home (2809 28th St. N.W., 20008, convenient to Woodley Park Metro stop.) Please telephone or email Rob if you'd like to attend. (202-712-5064; rbbertram@excite.com) Other dates and venues in Virginia and Maryland will also be scheduled.
Thank you for your continuing ideas and interest. Important stages of the search will soon be upon us and we look forward to working together with all the members and friends of UNMC in this most important effort.
Sincerely,
UNMC Ministerial Search Committee (Liz Crawford (Chair), Rob Bertram, Clint McCully and Donna Simonton)
