We come together this day to share worship and service in the spirit of Jesus Christ.
We connect to the God of Moses and of Jesus of Nazareth, the first inhabitants of this land, and those who established liberty and justice for all.
We share with the founders of this Universalist congregation and those who have evolved that tradition and with ministers who have reached us in thought, word, and deed.
We connect to our close families and friends and neighbors and to those sitting next to us today in this place, this city, this civilization, this universe.
We share thoughts and ideas about all that lives and has lived above the skies, on earth, and below the seas, and wonder where we will be and what we will do in the future. We share visions for the future of this church and the people who come within it.
We connect with the abundance that has been provided us and share with those in need and establish and maintain loving communities for worship and service. We do this in a spirit of love. We do this with a spirit of life.
