2:30 p.m. Meet at Meridian Hill Park, 16th and Euclid Streets NW, to walk with Lillie on the "final mile" of the Crosswalk journey that began in Phoenix on Easter Sunday

4 p.m. Free Crosswalk celebration at Foundry United Methodist Church; speakers include Bishop John Shelby Spong, Bishop Carlton Pearson, and Rev. Harry Knox

Sunday, September 10 - Rally Sunday
11 a.m. Worship: "To where do you come when you need unconditional love?" Rev. Henley, preaching

12:30 p.m. Lunch and jazz on the lawn

Monday, September 11
7 p.m. Board of Trustees monthly meeting. All are welcome to attend.

Saturday, September 16
10 a.m.-2 p.m. Brunch with Rev. Lillie at the home of Donna Simonton

Sunday, September 17
11 a.m. Worship: "The Principle of Paradox," Rev. Henley, preaching

Thursday, September 21
The prayer service for International Day of Peace will not take place, as previously scheduled. We invite you to pray each day this week for peace and join in one of the many observances taking place around the city.
