Interested in the history of UNMC and other UU congregations in the Washington area? The Rev. Bruce Marshall, author of Unitarians and Universalists of Washington, DC, is speaking on Tuesday, November 16, at 7:30 p.m. at the UU Church of Arlington. Unitarians established a church in the nation's capital in 1821, and the first Universalist sermon in Washington was presented at City Hall in 1827. Marshall's presentation includes pictures that tell the story of Unitarian Universalism in the DC area, including some from the UNMC archives. For directions, visit the UUCA web site.
